Because I need something else (*eyeroll*), I now have a Twitter. I may or may not actually use it. I mostly got one so I could follow other people. Feel free to add me though and I'll add you back :D
Today is my only day off this week. I worked two days I wasn't originally scheduled for, covering for someone who had a death in their family. So I don't really mind. It's more money anyway. Just means that I'm really tired and sore right now. But all is well. I'm going to finish my Christmas cards so I can mail them off, watch movies, and make a cake.
Yesterday, my mom came to my work to drop off a bus pass for me. When she left, my manager asked what ethnicity I was. I told her I was mostly white (English, Irish, etc.), but I had some Spanish, Italian, and Native American in me. My mom is blonde and has blue eyes, but I get my coloring from my dad (DARK brown hair, hazel eyes, olive-y skin) who has the Spanish and Italian ^_^
And finally, two of my friends are pregnant. And they're both younger than me. I'm more happy about one than the other, but still. I can't even fathom having kids yet. I hung out with the one whose pregnancy I'm more happy about yesterday after work. We got lunch and then a pregnancy test. I like how they lock them up in the case behind the counter. With the cigarettes. 'Yes, I'd like a carton of lights. And a pregnancy test, please.' Anyway. I don't think it's really hit me yet (and I can't imagine how it is for them). Being pregnant this early doesn't seem real. But soon, they'll start to show, and eventually they'll be MOTHERS. I can't quite grasp this concept. Not yet, at least.

Your boss asked aout your ethnicity? Isn't that kind of ... weird?

*shrug* I have people ask me what I am all the time. Sometimes they're close. One of my neighbors thought I was Greek. And when I was a baby, people thought I was Asian - Chinese, I believe. And although she is my boss, she acts more like a coworker/friend. We talk about almost anything, including how she just moved in with her boyfriend and how hard that decision was because she was raised Catholic.

It's just fun to see behind the scene stuff from Heroes, Wil Wheaton, Mythbusters, Stephen Fry, etc.
