I was going to make cookies but I realized that I'm the only one in my family who really eats sweets and I'd end up eating them all myself! So I figured a personal cake would be the lesser of two evils ;)

See, I'm the exact opposite. I love baking things but I'm rarely the one who eats them, which is why I tend to not make baked goods when I don't have people around often.

I wish I had that problem. I imagine I'd be a lot thinner than I am right now. I love baking and I love eating it too ^_^

I sometimes have that problem, but I'm not a huge sweet person. I like cake and cookies in small doses, but not a lot at once, and overdose of sweetness will turn me off of sweets for a long time. I don't like ice cream or cheesecake or pie except in small amounts. I'm more of a naturally sweet person, like fruits, or a more savory desert, like bread pudding, than heavy sweetness.

I haven't made that cake in ages. I wanted something sweet but I realized that I shouldn't make cookies because I would EAT THEM ALL and I'm trying to eat better. Thankfully I remembered you had posted that glorious personal cake recipe and I searched my memories for it. I had my mom try a bite and she loved it so much I made her her very own ;)

Thank you! It was a Christmas present to myself. As soon as I found that site, I knew I'd have to buy something. The trouble was narrowing down what I could get.

The FCKH8 campaign is a little intriguing...their clothes come from American Apparel, which has really seedy, gross business practices (will find actual links in a bit). Kind of puts a bad taste in my mouth, which is a shame, because I could get behind this cause!

Ah well, less money for merch, more money for the actual cause then. :)
