HELP NEEDED FOR not-so-IMPORTANT DECISION

When I went to Canada, I brought my Torchwood books to read on the drive. It's a kind of tradition for me to read something from the Whoverse when travelling. Just makes sense. Anyhoo, I'm trying to save money, but I'm in love with Eleven and Amy and I'd love to have at least one book with them to read on my trip this June. I don't know if I'd get all three, but at least one. This is where I need help. They all sound interesting enough for me to read, but I have no idea which one to pick (if I'm only getting one for now).

I already bought 'I Love You Phillip Morris' to read so I already have one book (or will soon, it was shipped today). But they're long flights and I don't know how long the batteries will last on my CD player and/or iPod (if I even decide to bring either of them along with me). I don't want to bring too much which is why I'd probably only get one for now.

Damn Amazon.com for not having them yet. And what I'd really like is for the audiobook The Hounds of Artemis to be out already. Or any of the ones read by Matt and/or Karen really.

Apollo 23
'For a few moments this afternoon, it rained on the moon.'

An astronaut in full spacesuit appears out of thin air in a busy shopping centre. Maybe it's a publicity stunt.

A photo shows a well-dressed woman in a red coat lying dead at the edge of a crater on the dark side of the moon — beside her beloved dog 'Poochie'. Maybe it's a hoax.

But as the Doctor and Amy find out, these are just minor events in a sinister plan to take over every human being on earth. The plot centres on a secret military base on the moon — that's where Amy and the TARDIS are.

The Doctor is back on Earth, and without the TARDIS there's no way he can get to the moon to save Amy and defeat the aliens.

Or is there? The Doctor discovers one last great secret that could save humanity: Apollo 23.

Night of the Humans
'This is the Gyre — the most hostile environment in the galaxy.'

250,000 years' worth of junk floating in deep space, home to the shipwrecked Sittuun, the carnivorous Sollogs, and worst of all — the Humans.

The Doctor and Amy arrive on this terrifying world in the middle of an all-out frontier war between Sittuun and Humans, and the countdown has already started. There's a comet in the sky, and it's on a collision course with the Gyre...

When the Doctor is kidnapped, it's up to Amy and "galaxy-famous swashbuckler" Dirk Slipstream to save the day.

But who is Slipstream, exactly? And what is he really doing here?
-------------------

The Forgotten Army
'Let me tell you a story. Long ago, in the frozen Arctic wastes, an alien army landed. Only now, thousands of years later, it isn't a story. And the army is ready to attack.'

New York — one of the greatest cities on 21st century Earth... But what's going on in the Museum? And is that really a Woolly Mammoth rampaging down Broadway?

An ordinary day becomes a time of terror, as the Doctor and Amy meet a new and deadly enemy. The vicious Army of the Vykoid are armed to the teeth and determined to enslave the human race. Even though they're only seven centimetres high.

With the Vykoid army swarming across Manhattan and sealing it from the world with a powerful alien force field, Amy has just 24 hours to find the Doctor and save the city. If she doesn't, the people of Manhattan will be taken to work in the doomed asteroid mines of the Vykoid home planet.

But as time starts to run out, who can she trust? And how far will she have to go to free New York from the Forgotten Army?

Well to start with have you checked this site?
http://www.bookdepository.com/
Whenever I want to buy something this is the first place I look.
From the three books personally I honestly don't know what I would choose. The last two seem rather interesting but I think the first one would have more doctor action.Sorry I can't give you any more help for this

I had not. Thank you so much for the link. The prices are even better over there! You've used them before? Did you like your shopping experience? I'm always anxious about ordering from a new place.

Yes I use it through paypal so there aren't any problems.I was too at first.Except me,a lot of my friends have taken either manga or books and so far everything was perfectly fine.
Amazon is so damn expensive nowadays...If you don't have paypal it is very easy to create one.Better safe after all...

I do actually have a Paypal and I love it. I love that so many stores are able to let you pay through that nowadays. And you're right about Amazon. I usually get DVDs there when they're on sale and I buy enough to get free shipping, but books I usually try to find through other users selling used ones. Thank you again for the tip and I'll probably try them out =D
