The

sherlockbbc Nor Cal meetup was today and I wasn't sure if I should go because I wouldn't know anybody and you just never know. But I convinced myself to go and I'm so glad I did. We had lunch at The Pig and Whistle (good pub food - I had a pastie and sausage rolls because I'm a fatass LOL). I had a lot of fun talking to everyone (there were 11 people I think) and it's always nice to talk to others who understand your geekiness. As we were leaving, the pub started lowering a projection screen to show Jaws. No idea why, but I love them for it. [PS I was wearing my Velociholmes shirt today]

After lunch, we made our way to the California Academy of Sciences.

We went to a show in the planetarium, which I was thankful for because I hadn't been able to go the first and only time I've been there since the renovation. As expected, I miss the old one, but it was still a lot of fun. So glad I went.

My mom actually spent the day in Golden Gate Park waiting for me and taking pictures, so I just met up with her and we went to Safeway for a few things (got a delicious sandwich and some pretzel M&Ms) and then home. As soon as I got home I got online and found out that my icon had been picked as the favorite for my team and is now the default icon of

hv_teamlogic! I'm glad other people liked it. I made it at like 3am and everything is funny at that hour. I also saw that

angrybeige had TWO new comics out. A glorious day indeed ;D

I recorded the SyFy movie Behemoth but I have a bit of a headache so I might save that for tomorrow. I also bought this Sherlock Homes DVD collection at Target for $2 but have no idea if it's any good so I'll probably give that a try tomorrow too.
