One of the challenges over at [livejournal.com profile] holmesverse was to make a picspam: Choose a character from Sherlock. Then, choose a historical person or a non-modern literary figure to be the other half of a crack!ship with the Sherlock character...

It's all just faces, but let's say spoilers for all of Sherlock and Merlin.

I had a few thoughts about where I wanted to go with this one. Originally I wanted to do an 'odd couple' thing with Moriarty and the Master from Doctor Who. But in the end, I decided on a hot-ass, bat-shit crazy Irish couple: Moriarty and Morgana (from Merlin, played by the gorgeous Katie McGrath).

So, somehow Moriarty goes back in time. He meets Morgana. He deduces she's a witch and seduces her in order to use her. However she has become stronger and smarter since we've seen her last and she uses her powers to keep Moriarty in check. They both need each other. Moriarty has the brains and Morgana has the power. While both of them struggle for dominance in their relationship, they accidentally fall in love. Moriarty studies magic texts and crap and together they find a way back to the future (aka now). Up next for the happy couple? Plans for world domination, of course!

I realized that as I was writing lol! I guess I could put the little banner thing under a cut just in case. Yeah, maybe I'll do that.

Thank you! I don't think there's any voting for the picspams though, so you're good. Icons yes. Which reminds me, I gotta make my icons!

wasn't trying to snark, just kind of..being inane.

Yeah, I gotta get on trying to fill all the graphic challenges...not sure who to pair who with...

brain is saying Churchill? (this kind of nonsense I will not up with put)

No I know. But then I thought that maybe not everyone on my flist has seen Sherlock and I'd hate to spoil the fun :)

But the crackier the better!

True. I spoiled myself about Mycroft by watching TGG before A Study In Pink (whhhhhyyyy?), so the kidnapping scene was somewhat ruined for me. :(

It's a shame Mary Poppins isn't a literary character...

Oh noes! That stinks. How did you watch that one first?

I was having SUCH a hard time decided what to do/who to pick. I kind of wanted to do Sherlock and Van Gogh just so I could use caps of Benedict for both characters ;)

PBS was being weird and not letting me watch the first, and I already seen the second, so I was like meh, okay, I'll watch the third. What's the worst that could happen?

yeeeeeaaaah. oh well, at least the end wasn't spoiled!

aw, but that's cheating! XD

Ah. Well that makes sense. And true. The ending's the best part anyway. By best, I mean most frustrating of course :P

I'd like to see John with Cumberbatch!Van Gogh. He'd see something of Sherlock in him and want to help him out. Then again, with the history John has with his sister, it might be a bit too much.

I hope you end up doing this challenge. I'd love to see what you come up with =D

I have an idea (Faust/Sherlock), but I'm really bad at casting people.

I might just get completely lazy and just do Sherlock/Poirot or Sherlock/Nero Wolfe (that would be so funny to see, the one who eats nothing versus the one who eats everything, assuming it's 5 stars and prepared by Fritz)

ooh, John & Archie Goodwin. Both handlers of their geniuses.
